THE TE3027 EARTH LEAKAGE CONDITIONER

 

 

 

 

 

 

1          DESCRIPTION

 

The EN BS standards for electrical safety, EN60950 and EN61010, define a maximum permissible earth leakage current. However, the current is measured using a weighting or conditioning network to simulate the differing physiological response of the human body to different frequencies of current. The networks are described in Annexes to the specifications. The EN Earth Leakage Conditioner (TE 3027) realises each of the specified networks in a small plastic and metal housing and allows convenient connection to the UUT and DMM and switch selection of the appropriate network.
